• Terms & Conditions – Regional Tech Hub Emergency Preparedness 2025 Story Campaign

    These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Regional Tech Hub’s Emergency Preparedness 2025 Story Campaign (“the Campaign”). By submitting a story, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

    1. Promoter

    The Campaign is conducted by the Regional Tech Hub, an initiative supported by National Farmers Federation (“the Promoter”).

    1. Eligibility
    • Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 12 years and over.
    • Entrants under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate and to receive a prize.
    • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.
    • By entering, participants confirm that their submission is their own original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
    1. How to Enter
    • Entries must be submitted via our email hello@regionaltechhub.org.au or via our Facebook Page as a private message
    • An individual may submit one story only.
    • Entries must be received by 5pm AESDT, 14th November 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
    1. Selection of Featured Stories
    • A panel appointed by the Promoter will review submissions.
    • Up to 5 stories will be selected to be featured by the Promoter during the Campaign.
    • The panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    1. Prize
    • Each featured story selected will receive one (1) $100 Prepaid Mastercard (“the Prize”).
    • The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
    • The Prepaid Mastercard is issued subject to its own terms of use and expiry date. The Promoter is not responsible for the card’s administration once issued.
    1. Notification of Winners
    • Selected entrants will be notified by email and/or phone within 7 business days of selection.
    • If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to another entrant.
    1. Publication and Use of Stories
    • By entering, participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, use, adapt, and share their story in any media (including website, social media, newsletters, and promotional material).
    • Participants agree that their first name and general location (e.g. “Sarah from Kangaroo Island”) may be published with their story.
    1. Privacy
    • Personal information collected through this Campaign will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
    • Information will only be used for the purposes of administering the Campaign and publishing selected stories.
    1. General
    • The Promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend, or cancel the Campaign at any time without notice.
    • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries, or for any technical issues that may affect entry.
    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of accepting or using the Prize.
